The Reform Touring Club was formed in 2005 following a successful venture to Andorra to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the formation of the club. (See the History Tab)
As the anniversary approached, the question of how to make the celebrate a bit different and special was discussed, and the possibility of a weekend bonspeil, but not in Scotland, took shape. The timing (2005) co-incided with the European Mixed Championships in Andorra, and there was an opportunity for us to use the ice over the weekend before the main event. With the considerable assistance of Andrew Ferguson-Smith, the arrangements took shape, flights and hotel were booked for some 54 curlers and supporters

The trip was a great success, prompting the question "Where to next time?", and The Reform Touring Club was born. Based on the concept of budget flights, reasonably priced hotels, and (probably) European ice rinks, the plan is to have a short tour every 2 years. It should be affordable for all club members and essentially be of the form of a long weekend.
The success of the event relies heavily on having a good local contact, and to date we are indebted for their considerable assistance.
